ALL NATURAL TREE & SHRUB PROGRAM
PROBIOTIC PLANT MANAGEMENT

To protect valuable landscape, Healthy & Happy Lawns Inc. has developed a “Probitic plant health” Ornamental Tree & shrub program. Probitic simply means, “Working in harmony with nature” This program is formulated to enhance the natural process already in place with nature. Our program, first treats the soil in which plants & trees are growing in. To create/improve the soil’s health,  essential nutrients are added which will increase the plants root mass thereby, strengthening the plants. Secondly, our program, treats/improves the “plants health” by improving the essential nutrients it needs to ward off any “plant stress’ such as fungus or weather extremes. Thirdly, this program treats/protects the plants from any insect infestations by using all natural or L.T.P.M. (Least toxic pest management) products.

Look at the picture of a hemlock tree (Extreme left).. It was attacked severely by Aphids. By treating both the  soil and the plant you can see the tree is now very healthy and strong! Below that picture is an Alberta Spruce, that was attacked by mites plus was planted in very poor soil.  The next picture shows the same plant all healthy & strong. Again we treated both the soil and the plant.  At the right (Top) shows a White Birch tree that was “Root bound’ growing in heavy clay soil.  After treatments, the bottom picture shows the same birch tree all healthy again.

THE PROGRAM:

Step#1: a complete soil test (See soil testing)

Step#2 (3/15-4/20)  Horticultural oils to smother any eggs of wintering insects.

Step#3: (4/20-6/30) Neem oils, clove oils or nematodes to kill/repel any insects. Soil improvers (Liquid compost) which will biologically aerate any hard compacted soils and add essential soil nutrients. Fungus/Disease controls if needed

Step#4: (6/30-8/31)  Neem oils, clove oils or nematodes to kill/repel any insects. Soil improvers (Liquid compost) which will biologically aerate any hard compacted soils and add essential soil nutrients. Fungus/Disease controls if needed

NOTE:  Traditional Tree & shrub programs only treat the plants and never improves the soil they’re growing in.  This type of program only treats the symptoms and not the cause. Which only  increases the usage of toxic pesticides.  Not only do the pesticides kill the bad insects, they also  eliminate all beneficial insects, bacterias, micro-organisms and everything else “Mother Nature” provides for this planet.
